Welcome Studio Torus.  Yoga, Pilates, Running & Fitness in Blackburn

By accessing Studio Torus website and attending  Studio and/or outdoor classes you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with the Privacy Policy, govern Studio Torus’ relationship with you in relation to the website and studio.  We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions at any time. 
 

General terms

  • Bookings are essential for all classes. Studio Torus does not accept walk ins.

  • To participate in a class, you must purchase a valid pass

  • All passes must be active and not expired at time of booked class

  • Health evaluation must be completed prior to first class

  • Classes are subject to change or cancellation without notice.

  • Teachers are subject to change without notice.

  • Studio Torus is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for classes that are late, changed or cancelled for any reason.

  • The front door of the studio may be locked at the beginning of class for safety and security. Late entry will not be permitted. We also encourage you to remain for the duration of the session.

  • We will endeavour to start and finish classes at the scheduled time

  • Studio Torus is not responsible for the safekeeping of your belongings.

  • Classes at Studio Torus are physically strenuous and you voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury, property loss or death. Studio Torus is in no way liable for any injury, loss of property or death resulting from attending our studio classes and outdoor personal training classes.

  • Studio Torus does not offer refunds on services or products for change of mind, injury, illness, change of address or any other reason. All purchases are final.

Pricing

  • All prices, products and offers include GST.

  • All prices are correct at the time of online publication.

  • Prices may increase from time to time. Notice of any such increase will be provided on our website and by email to existing students.

  • Studio Torus does not offer refunds on services or products for change of mind, injury, illness, change of address or any other reason. All purchases are final

  • when you purchase a pass, you are allocated ‘credits’ for your pass type.

  • credits are valid for the time period allocated to the pass you purchased. I.e. weekly credits expire and renew weekly, monthly credits expire 30 days from date of purchase, yearly passes expire 1 year from date of purchase

  • credits cannot be carried forward into the following week, month or year.

  • extensions will not be granted

Cancellation Policy

Due to our small class sizes and personal approach, whereby teachers plan classes ahead of time according to who is booked in, we ask student to be mindful of this when booking classes. And therefore require a strict cancellation policy

·       If you can no longer attend a booked class you must deregister via the booking system with 3 hours notice

·       Late cancellations or no shows incur the loss of 1 class credit from class passes and intro passes

·       Late cancellations and no shows for those on memberships will incur a casual class fee billed to your account to the card on file

·       Do not book classes more then 7 days in advance

Intro Pass

·       5 classes to be completed in 14 days

·       The activation date of the offer is the date of the purchase.

·       Unused credits forfeited once pass expired

·       No extensions will be given for any reason

·       Non refundable. Pass purchase is final

·       No further discounts or concessions apply.

·       Students may only purchase the Intro Offer once.

·       Bookings essential

·       Must deregister with minimum 3 hours notice if you can no longer attend a booked class

·       Credit deducted from pass for No shows and late cancellations

·       Health evaluation must be completed prior to first class. Link in welcome email.

2024 1 FREE CLASS PROMOTION (FACEBOOK & INSTAGRAM)

  • New students only

  • One free pass per person

  • Pass is valid for 14 days from date of sign up

  • Can be used for any class on the timetable

  • bookings essential

  • no show or late cancellation incurs cost/ use of free pass

  • Must abide by all studio terms and conditions listed on this page

  • Must complete health form prior to attending free class studiotorus.com/new-member-health-form

FLEXIBLE YEARLY CLASS PASSES

  • 5, 10, 20 and 50 class pass are all valid for 1 year from the date of purchase

  • The yearly pass allows you to attend the number of classes you purchased (5, 10, 20 or 50) over the course of 1 year from date of purchase.

  • credits cannot be carried forward

  • end dates will not be extended.

  • no shows and cancellations later than 3 hours prior to class start time incur the cost of 1 credit from your yearly pass

  • No refunds are offered on unused portions of the yearly Class Passes due to illness, injury, change of address or any other reason.

MONTHLY/ CASUAL CLASS PASS

  • 1 casual class, 8 class pass & 12 class pass are valid for 30 days from date of purchase

  • these passes are designed to be less committal than weekly memberships however provide a better priced option than yearly passes

  • no extentions will be granted if you have not used up all classes on monthly pass

  • credits cannot be carried forward to following month

  • no shows and cancellations later than 3 hours prior to class start time incur the cost of 1 credit from your monthly pass

WEEKLY MEMBERSHIPS

  • Direct Debit Membership agreements are for a minimum term of three monthly debits or equivalent weekly payments for 3 months in total

  • you are allocated the number of class credits you signed up to - 2 class per week membership = 2 credits per week, 3 class per week membership = 3 credits, 4 and so on.

  • credits expire and renew each week whether used or not

  • credits cannot be carried forward into the following month

  • After the expiry of the minimum term, the membership will continue indefinitely until you advise Studio Torus by emailing emma@studiotorus.com that you wish to cancel your membership. Requests will not be accepted by any other means other than email. We require 14 business days to process any such cancellation.

  • You may suspend your membership for periods longer than 7 days and no more than 1 month in any twelve month period. Requests to suspend memberships must be made in writing by emailing us at emma@studiotorus.com. Requests will not be accepted by any means other than email. Please allow 7 business days to process any such suspension.

  • Studio Torus may increase its fees for the weekly Memberships. Notice of such increases will be provided on our website and by email to affected students.

  • Memberships cannot be shared. Anyone found to be sharing their membership will be denied entry and have their membership cancelled.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure there are sufficient funds available to cover the weekly or monthly auto-debit. Should a payment be declined for any reason, Studio Torus reserves the right to process payment at anytime to settle any debt owed. If an auto-debit is declined due to insufficient funds, the transaction will fail which requires additional administration and yields additional bank costs. Unfortunately, our third party provider may charge a fee for failed transactions. This fee is debited 7 days after the failed payment.

  • Studio Torus is not responsible for additional bank fees that you may incur from your bank. Bank fees are under the terms and conditions of contractual agreements that lie between you and your bank.

  • If auto-debit payments fail for 2 payments or more, Studio Torus may cancel the membership.

  • The terms and conditions of our Direct Debit Request Agreement form a binding component of your membership agreement. You can download a copy of our Direct Debit Request Agreement here.
